Laura Woods is set to leave talkSPORT’s Sports Breakfast show, with her last appearance to take place on Wednesday June 28, the organisation has announced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Woods has hosted the broadcaster’s flagship show for three years, and the 35-year-old will call time on a role that has seen the presenter win multiple awards for her coverage, including Best Speech Breakfast Show at the ARIAS in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of May, Mail Sport reported that Woods will be helming newly-launched TNT Sport’s\u00a0Champions League\u00a0coverage next season,\u00a0replacing long-serving presenter Jake Humphrey\u00a0when BT Sport undergoes its summer rebrand.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Woods’ statement in the wake of her exit was typically warm and wry, as the Arsenal supporter shared that she would even miss ‘Spurs fans’ after leaving the broadcaster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘You lot, our listeners, have given me so much comfort and guided me through some of my toughest moments, without even realising it,’ Woods said. ‘So I wanted to thank you personally for that. I will miss it dearly. Even the Spurs fans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
