The programmes are:
A. IT PROGRAMMES • Foundation/ Basic ICT – for people with little or no knowledge of ICT • Systems and Networking Engineering • Software Engineering • Graphic and Web Design • Database Technology Each level runs for six months. Our students are trained and issued with certificates from IPMC.
B. INFORMATION SECURITY PROGRAMMES INFORMATION SECURITY – Digital Forensics – Ethical Hacking – incident Handling & Reporting – Monitoring & Detection – Secure Coding – Network defense – Management, Audit & Legal – Penetration Testing – ICS/SCADA Security – Incident Management – SIEM – Threat Intelligence These courses run for three months. Certificates will be issued at the end of the training
C. SOCIAL Marketing PROGRAMMES SECURITY CERTIFICATION – Social media marketing – CompTIA Security+ – Electronic Commerce – Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) – Content Marketing – Certified IS Security Professional (CISSP) – Augmented/Virtual Reality Marketing – Certified IS Manager (CISM) – Social Advertising – Certified Info Systems Auditor (CISA) – Digital Sales Funnel – Certified in Risk and Info Systems (CRISC) These courses run for three months. Certificates will be issued at the end of the training.
D. DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES – Diploma in Public Relation – Diploma in Business Administration – Diploma in Computerized Accounting – Diploma in Agribusiness These programmes run for two years. Graduates will receive a Diploma from NABPTEX
E. ADMISSION REQUIREMENT (FOR DIPLOMA & HND PROGRAMMES)
The following categories of students will be considered for admission:
1. SSSCE/WASSCE APPLICANTS Three Passes not below D7 (WASSCE) or D (SSSCE) in core subjects including English and Core Mathematics PLUS two credit passes in relevant elective subjects.
2. O‟LEVEL/GBCE AND A‟LEVEL/ABCE APPLICANTS Five passes in O‟ Level/GBCE including English Language and Mathematics
3. MATURE APPLICANTS i. Must be at least 25 years at the time of application. ii. Must have 5 credits at the GCE „O‟ Level, including English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science and three Elective subjects at the SSSCE/WASSCE level. iii. Must provide documentary evidence of relevant work experience iv. Must pass a Departmental examination and interview
F. COURSE ORGANIZATION Students have the option to enroll in the Day, Evening or Weekend Session
• Day Session Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
• Evening Session Monday – Friday (6:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
• Weekend Session Saturday (8: 00 am – 4:00 noon) Sunday (3:00 pm-6:00pm)
