Mediafillasgh.com can exclusively report that seasoned broadcaster Kwabena Prah Jnr. affectionately known as “Don Dada” has exited Accra FM.
We can authoritatively confirm ‘The Don’ is now joining Accra-based Happy FM, the parent station of the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Corporation (GMABC) – which also has YFM Accra, YFM Kumasi, YFM Takoradi and eTV Ghana as its other subsidiaries.
Don, known for his unique baritone voice and his enormous ability in professional broadcasting together over the years held the entire Oseikrom down with his late afternoon political and current affairs programmes.
It’s an undeniable fact that Don is a household name in the media landscape and also has been the backbone for the morning show on Accra FM from day one.
Sources close to this website can confirm he is settling in as replacement for Okatakyie Kwame Afrifa Mensah (also known as Leo Mensah or Ntoatoahene) who left the media group somewhere in November last year.
Kwabena Prah Jnr. is expected to host popular afternoon current affairs radio show, Epa Hoa, Daben?’, a show that places emphasis on accountability, charging people in authority to be responsible and living up to expectation – which runs from 1pm to 5pm.
Previously, “Don Dada” worked with Radio Mercury, Kesewaa Radio, Fox FM, Nananom FM, OTEC FM, Boss FM and Agyenkwa FM before joining Accra FM in 2018..
www.mediafillasgh.com hereby wishes “The Don” all the best on this new career move.
