Celebrated Ghanaian disc jockey, Andy Dosty (known in real life as Andrew Kwasi Amoh) has joined the Ghana DJ Awards board.
As a member of the Ghana DJ Awards Jury, Andy, who holds over two decades of experience in the entertainment space as a DJ, radio presenter and MC, will bring his knowledge and expertise in DJing to the table to contribute immensely to the development of the scheme.
Andy made this known at the just-ended Ghana DJ Awards which saw Starr FM’s DJ Vyrusky emerging as the overall DJ of the year.
Merqury Quaye, Founder and CEO of the awards in an earlier interview today on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz 103.9 FM, officially welcomed Andy to the board which already has the likes of Mr Adu Gyamfi, Rab Bakari, Hubert Kofi Anti, Richie Mensah and Mr Ahumah Bosco Ocansey among others.
As a member of the Ghana DJ Awards board, Andy Dosty will not be eligible for nominations for awards by the scheme.
Known as Africa’s biggest DJ event, the Ghana DJ Awards is the foremost award scheme in Africa which awards was created to celebrate and appreciate the talents of Disc Jockeys (DJs) who promote Ghana music.
The Awards is an exciting annual program designed to foster the development of the Ghana music industry by rewarding and celebrating Radio, Mobile and Club Disc Jockeys who have excelled in their fields of endeavour.
The 6th Annual Ghana DJ Awards which saw DJ Vyrusky emerge Best Overall DJ of the Year, was held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, May 5. The festival is produced by Merqury Republic.
