Broadcast sports journalist and former Communications Director of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Obed Acheampong has joined Bantama based outfit Silver 98.3FM, .
The experienced sports broadcaster comes on board to augment the Silver sports crew led by King Eben as it makes attempts to recapture a significant portion on the sports fraternity.
The former Vision1 FM sports pundit was relieved off his duties as the communications director of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and was therefore replaced by Lawyer Samuel Sarfo Duku.
Obed Acheampong was appointed as the head of communications of the Kumasi based club when Dr Kwame Kyei took over as the Executive Chairman of the club in 2016.
Sir Obed is a highly experienced broadcaster and communicator with previous stints at Dr. Kyei owned Accra-based Vision1 FM and Light TV.
