Astute sports journalist, Jones Asante Mfodwo (popularly known as Kobby Jones) of Accra-based Enigye FM beat off competition from incumbent Paa Kofi Sumsum Busumburu to win Hearts of Oak’s National Chapters Committee (NCC) Public Relations Officer (PRO) position.
The former student of Sunyani Senior High School amassed 224 votes whilst Paa Kofi Sunsum Busunburu had 176 votes.

Jones Asante Mfodwo, previously worked with Sky FM (Sunyani), Hot FM (Accra), Asempa FM (Accra) and Metro FM (Kumasi).
Ghana Immigration Officer, Elvis Herman Hesse has also been elected the new chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC) of Accra Hearts of Oak Football Club. Madam Vicentia Deku has also been elected the second chairperson.
Popular Hearts of Oak supporter, Henry Harding, popularly known as Pattington Papa Nii Papafio, also missed out on the chance to become the national organizer.
The National Chapter Committee (NCC) elections was held on Saturday, June 22 at Civil Service auditorium in Accra. in Accra.
