Celebrated female radio presenter, Harry Adwoa Owusu-Kusi, known in radio circles as DJ Ohemaa Woyeje has taken radio to another level.
The multilingual Queen of mid-morning shows is not only turning celebrities and musicians into radio presenters on Angel 102.9FM but also offering the best opportunity to reach out to millions.
‘A Day as a presenter’ which was introduced by the versatile presenter and her producers has helped unearthed the hidden presentation talents in several celebrities.
Ardent listeners of her show, Y’Adwuma Nie which is aired from 10:00am to 12:00pm on the station which is fast taking over the capital are always served with variety of contents particularly on Thursdays when one notable person or another takes over the hosting of the programme.
Commedian Ajors, Akua Donkor, Beverly Afaglo, EB Forson, Clemento Suarez, Kaywa and a lot more have demonstrated their different talents when they have had the opportunity to sit behind consoles and broadcast contents to a wide range of listeners, both home and abroad.
Worthy of note is how people with no background in media also appear on the show and perform great wonders when they take over Ohemaa Woyeje’s seat.
Mr Kofi Essel who is the Head of Food Industrial Support of the FDA and former MTTD Boss, ACP Victor Tandoh proved that they can also excel on radio when they leave the corporate world.
The least said about the splendid performances by the likes of Xandy Kamel, King Ayisoba, Lucky Mensah and others the better.
It is thus refreshing to know that several radio stations are now adopting similar strategies to make their programmes interesting.
Indeed, DJ Ohemaa Woyeje stands tall in her field and will forever be the Queen of Morning Shows.
She promises to come back to the airwaves from the 1st June, 2020 with great and never boring contents.
Listeners of Angel 102.9FM are entreated to remain locked down on the station for more surprises come June 1.
