Management of the Media General Group, Ghana’s leading media company on Friday, May 29 announced new appointments and changes in its senior management team effective Monday, June 1.
Francis Doku, the General Manager for MG Digital Limited and General Manager of MG Radio, has been appointed as the new General Manager for MG Television, responsible for TV3 Network and Onua TV.
Micheal Oti-Adjei, who is currently the Group Head of Sports, will assume the role of General Manager, MG Digital and will be in charge of the digital direction of the group.
Head of Production at Adesa Production Limited Afeafa Nfojoh will take over the role of General Manager of Adesa Production Limited.
The Head of News Planning and Research, Sedem Ofori, takes up the position of General Manager, MG News whilst Abraham Asare, the Acting Manager of MG News, has been reassigned as the acting General Manager of MG Radio.
In her congratulatory message, Group CEO of Media General Beatrice Agyemang Abbey said “management of Media General is convinced the wealth of experience the appointed senior managers have in their respective areas of expertise will be brought to bear on Media General to strengthen its leadership position in the industry”.
