A former Senior Broadcast Journalist with the Multimedia Group Limited, Cyrus DeGraft-Johnson is leading a team of seasoned media personalities at the yet to be commissioned Asaase Radio currently on test transmission.
Sources reveal that Cyrus DeGraft-Johnson will be the anchor of the station as General Manager with persons with decades of experience in the media landscape providing support roles.
A product of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, he worked as a News Editor at Skyy Power FM/TV in Takoradi between 2004 and 2007. He also worked with Multimedia for four years, moved to Inter City STC as Communications Manager, to Media Generals TV3 as Assistant Manager (News Production), worked at Voltic Ghana Limited as Corporate Affairs Manager and Accra Brewery Limited among others.
He returns to radio with a wealth of experience and is expected to give existing stations in the urban market space within the capital a run for their money.
It is gathered that the station which is operating on the 99.5 frequency belongs to Daily Statesman newspaper, which has Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko as the frontman and is expected to focus much on news and current affairs.
