Seasoned Ghanaian broadcaster, Captain Smart has heaped a lot of praises on budding rapper, Kwesi Korang.
After Kwesi Korang performed his ‘Letter To My MP’ song live in the studio of Angel FM in Accra, Captain Smart, who was impressed with his performance gave him huge applause.
While clapping for the young Sensational rapper, the morning show host of Angel FM exclaimed, “Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!…Ohh My God!!!”
After his performance, the Sunyani-based rap king was nicknamed ‘Bono Burger’ on the show.
“I love your style…you are unique and you do not do what everyone is doing,” he stated.
Captain Smart added: “Imitation is a limitation, so do not copy anyone’s style…try to be you always.”
When asked the number of years he has been singing, Kwesi Korang stated he has been singing for about four (4) years now.
Following his answer, Captain Smart averred this is the time for him to shine. He disclosed his readiness to support the music career of the young chap.
Kwesi Korang further revealed how he gets the inspiration to write songs that impacts society.
He indicated that he is always eager to tackle societal issues in his songs.
Kwesi Korang bemoaned medical negligence in Ghana in his latest song titled ‘Patient Lives Matter’ which was released a few days ago.
