Sad news reaching our desk this evening indicates that popular Die-hard fan of Hearts of Oak, Shomo Quaye is reportedly dead after he was knocked down by a vehicle this evening.
Blogger and sports journalist Evans Gyamerah-Antwi sadly announced the death of the popular Hearts of Oak rep. on his facebook wall Wednesday night:
Rest in Peace to die-hard Hearts of Oak supporter Shomo Quaye who passed on this evening at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
Mo-Quaye was knocked down by a car and suffered several injuries. He was pronounced dead by doctors upon reaching the Accident and Emergency unit of the hospital.
Until his death, Shomo Quaye had previously worked as a club representative for Accra Hearts of Oak for several stations like Fox FM, Angel FM, Kessben FM, Nhyira FM, OTEC FM, Silver FM and many more.
