Highly-experienced Radio presenter and disc jockey Yaw Awudu Dompreh (popularly known in the fraternity as YAD) excites the capital with his weekend shows on Accra-based Angel 102.9FM.
The hilarious weekend show dubbed ‘Saturday Weekend Show’ hits the airwaves every Saturday between the hours of 6.30am and 9.00am.
‘Saturday Weekend Show’ is an interesting and fun filled radio show with an envious wealth of radio experience on your Saturday morning.
Again, make a date with the man YAD on your radio with the Sunday’s edition dubbed “Sunday Evening Special” between 6.30pm to 9.00pm.
The show will not only be playing music and discuss topical issues in the country with regular guests on the show.
Amongst its unique offerings is that it brings the spotlight to a music artiste to the test and also promote up and coming artistes.

Yaw Awudu Dompreh known in the media industry as YAD is a native of Kwahu Obomeng in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Born in Tema Community 5, YAD started his radio journey in 1992 with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) as a Disc Jockey for Greg Mingle and gradually developed interest for presenting. He worked there for some time and later moved to Life FM at Nkawkaw where helped built the station in 1999.
Some years later, YAD worked with Sky FM in Sunyani and Chris FM in Berekum. He later joined Classic FM in Techiman before moving to Kumasi where worked at Fox fm and hosted Fox Rush Hour at that time but after some time he descended to the Capital. His appearance in Accra saw him at Happy FM.
YAD left Happy FM due to personal issues and went back his root; Ashanti Region and joined Ashh FM before making a move to Angel FM in Kumasi to be precise where he presents the After Drive. He later hosted Angel Lunch on the Abrepo based station.
He again moved to KFM, a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network as the General Manager of the Techiman based radio station before joining Angel FM in Accra.
Aside radio, he is into Advertising and Radio Marketing.
YAD promises to work with the Angel Broadcasting Network till he retires from the media fraternity.
