After two years of leaving the Y Family, DJ Slim is back at the Kumasi-based station.
The popular Disc Jockey took to his social media handles to announce he’s on #TheMove:

#TheMove which we’re hearing is to create awareness for the YFM family on its imminent move to new location in Kumasi from the original Adum base.
This website can extensively report that Y102.5FM is relocating to a new base around Nhyiaeso after the Kumasi-based station Monday afternoon posted this on its social media handles :
‘The Supreme Bigger Figure’ as he is widely called by his fans all over, will be part of a hosts of Disc jockeys to trail cherished listeners as YFM launches its new studios Friday 2nd July 2021 dubbed ‘WAKE KEEPING” at 6pm.
DJ Slim started his radio career at Focus FM when he was a student at KNUST studying economics, he joined Radio Xtacy when he was in his final year at KNUST. He was later poached to Sunyani-based Sky FM when he worked as an on air staff and the events manager of the radio station .
His exploits in radio have taken him to almost every part of the country. He later joined Kapital Radio, Solid FM and moved to YFM-Kumasi as the Drive Time Host till he joined Angel Broadcasting Network as an on air staff at Pure FM and also ( Programs/Events ) manager for the same station before making a move to RadioONE which also operates under the Angel Broadcasting Network where he is the Business Manager of the Kumasi-based station.
