Sad news reaching this website can confirm popular Sports journalist and head of sports at Nkawkaw-based Obuoba FM, Baba Kankani (known in private life as Adams Shaibu) has died in a tragic accident.
According to reports, the four were returning from a match between Okwahu city and Okwawu United at Yayaaso, New Abirem.
The report added the vehicle somersaulted after the driver lost control.
Baba Kankani died on the spot with the three, Accra Boy the Phone Seller, Confidence of Nkawkaw based Delight fm and the driver of the car severely injured.
Baba Kankani was buried on Monday as Islamic custom demands.
