Multiple award-winning Disc Jockey and popular radio presenter DJ Slim is expected to bow out as host of the late afternoon Drive Time show on Kumasi-based ABN’s subsidiary, Radio ONE 105.7FM, FORMULA ONE effective 1st January 2022.
Mediafillasgh.com sources indicate that DJ Slim will bring his career as host of the drive time show to an end.
The information also revealed that he will officially hand over to a new host, who we understand would be a high-profiled Drive Time host.
DJ Slim joined radio while a student at the University of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He moved on to become an authority not just in radio broadcasting, but in the entertainment industry as a whole.
Meanwhile, DJ Slim will move to host a new programme on the channel and will still remain as the Business Manager of the Abrepo-Junction based station.
He will also remain as the host of popular Sunday’s evening entertainment show, For the Culture and Saturday morning music show, Adonko Music Mix as he decides to bow out on Drive Time hosting duties on January 1.

DJ Slim already has about 15 years of radio presence on his CV.
DJ Kwaku Slim started his radio journey at KNUST Campus-based Focus FM and later joined Radio Xtacy after few years .
Slim was poached to Sunyani-based Sky FM as on-air Disc Jockey and the events manager of the radio station.
He also worked with Kapital Radio, Solid FM and YFM Kumasi before heading to Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) as Drive Time host of Pure FM as well as Programme and Events Manager of the Patasi-based radio station before moving to Radio ONE.
