Angel Broadcasting Network Kumasi-based Pure 95.7FM Facebook’s social media account was temporarily taken over by a group of hackers on Friday morning, www.mediafillasgh.com can confirm.
This attack is an attempt to show cyber vulnerabilities and lack of security.
The account has since not been restored.
In a confirmation statement on Facebook, Head of sports at Pure FM, Bright Kankam Boadu posted:
Bright Kankam Boadu in a social media update on the hacked Facebook handle, he confirmed Management has acquired a new handle for the streaming of its programmes, “PURE FM TV” on facebook.
