Popular radio personality, political and morning show host ‘Sir John’ has gracefully bowed out of Media General outfit Akoma FM, Mediafillasgh.com can state.
Sir John now joins Fox FM, a parent subsidiary of the F-Giant Broadcasting Limited where he would host the ‘Fox Morning Drive’ between 6.20am and 9.30am from Monday to Friday.
Sir John directly replaces Danny Owusu Ansah, who it is understood he has been re-assigned to host the ‘Rush Hour’ drivetime show.
This website can however confirm that popular social commentator cum political analyst, Nana Quame Afriyie who has also resigned from Media General would also join the new ‘Fox Morning Drive’ team.
Reliable information available to us however indicates the all new ‘Fox Morning Drive’ team starts work on Monday March 7, 2022.
Sir John, trained teacher by profession, started his radio journey with Offinso-based Time FM, later joined Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom’s Ahoto FM (now Vim FM) before heading to Media General’s Akoma FM also in Kumasi. Whiles at Akoma FM, he co-hosted the morning show together with Aduanaba Kofi Asante and also hosted several programmes like ‘Me Man Nti’ and ‘Wonsom’.
Congratulations on the new adventure.
