Popular radio presenter, William Smith, (also known on radio as DJ Willie) and Dickson Owusu (affectionately known as Papa Shamo) have left their jobs at Accra based Angel FM, subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network.
The duo now join Adesa-based radio station, Onua FM/TV owned by Media General.
DJ Willie and Papa Shamo, until their departure from Angel FM, had been with the station for a year and a half now.
Also known as the ‘Chinese Man’, DJ Willie hosted various shows on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays alongside Papa Shamo on the Accra-based station.
The two have personalities full of ideas and innovations, which has attracted a myriad of listeners, who always tune in their dial to listen to them.
DJ Willie and Papa Shamo were unveiled as new members of the Onua FM and Onua TV, which operates under Media General by Captain Smart on his Onua Maakye morning show on Monday.
