The sports fraternity in the Ashanti Region may in few days experience a huge shake up on both Kumasi 104.1FM and Adehye 99.1FM.
According to Mediafillasgh.com sources, we can disclose that the Class Media Group (CMG) has acquired some key sports presenters to steer affairs at the Atinga Junction-based media house.
This website sources can disclose that the New KUMASI FM/ADEHYE FM SPORTS team will be made up of Opoku Afriyie Richmond ‘Pkay’ (formerly of Light FM/Fox FM), Jude Baffour (formerly of Fox FM), Edmund Opoku Afriyie ( Royal TV) , Emmanuel Owusu Ansah ‘Simple Man (formerly of Akwaaba FM/Fox FM) and Krobea Asante’ ‘Messi'(formerly of Fox FM) with Osei Kofi (Royal TV) as its Chief Executive Producer.
Barring any last minute changes, the highly-anticipated sports show, COUNTRY SPORTS will officially take off in grand style on Monday September 5, 2022, this website can state.
The Sports team comes off with the station’s flagship MORNING SPORTS SHOW dubbed COUNTRY SPORTS on Kumasi FM (6.30AM-10AM) as well as EVENING SPORTS SHOW dubbed 530 SPORTS on Adehye FM (5.30PM – 6PM) from Monday to Friday.
The WEEKEND SPORTS SHOW on Saturdays is a three-and-half-hour programme which is also expected to be aired between 6.30AM and 10AM.
