Popular Radio presenter Samuel Wood affectionately known as Koo Sebor has officially exited Kumasi-based Pure FM as the host of the station’s flagship late afternoon drive time show.
The presenter who started his radio and broadcast journey with Y102.5FM before moving to Pure 95.7FM in 2019 will effective Monday, June 5, 2023, take on a new challenge in the nation’s capital, our sources have learnt.
Ghana’s Most Authoritative and Authentic Media Fillas Source, Mediafillasgh can however confirm that ‘Selector Sebor’ as he is also known, will take over as host of Angel Drive on Angel 102.9FM Accra.
He officially takes over from Quophi Okyeame who resigned from the media brand few days ago after the expiry of his contract.
Koo Sebor is expected to inject new energy into the station’s late afternoon show and also bring on board fresh ideas that could make the show the most listened to in the city.
Announcing the new move in a video on his social media platforms Selector Sebor extended his appreciation to the people of Kumasi and corporate Ghana for the support throughout his 7-year career which started in Kumasi.
“It’s been more than 7 years serving you exciting content on your radio in the region. All too soon, it’s time for me to bow out of the radio in the region and advance the craft elsewhere. I’ll really miss the city as it taught me all I know about radio,” he said.
