Masterly broadcaster Emmanuel Kwame Koranteng (popularly known as K.K) has finally been unveiled as the host of the all new Time FM Morning Show in Kumasi. The latest signee by Positive Media Network brings his vast experience to anchor the morning rush hour from 5:50am – 10am every week day.
Interspersed with inevitable Motivational Messages, Weather Report and Great interviews, the Old Vandal is already a toast in the Garden City of Kumasi with his soothing and baritone voice to pilot the show christened “AMA GHANA”.
The agenda setting “AMA GHANA” is poised to change the usual or traditional broadcasting in Kumasi with focus-grilling interviewees for instant results. As KK, pushes the start button of “AMA GHANA” on Monday, 26/06/2023, Kumasi has no alternative than Time FM 97.7 MHz.

PERSONAL PROFILE: KORANTENG EMMANUEL
Mr. Emmanuel Koranteng, popularly known as KK, is an ace broadcaster with vast experience in the media industry. He joins Time Fm 97.7 Megahertz as the Morning Show Anchor having worked in various fields of the media industry, including News room, marketing department, program production and hosting.
KK began his media career as a Production assistant at Radio Universe while still a student at the University of Ghana, Legon. His main duties were Production of talk shows and assisting the production team.
Between February and December 2009, he was designated as the Programs Manager and Morning show host of Hi 99.3 FM at Abetifi Kwahu in the Eastern Region.
In January, 2010 Mr. Koranteng moved to become a Producer for the Citi Breakfast Show at Citi 97.3 FM in Adabraka, Accra.
After a brief stint in the capital, he relocated to the Eastern region where he pitched camp with EIB Network’s Agoo East 96.9FM in February, 2013 as Morning Show Host and acting News Editor before rising to become the station’s Programs Manager.
In 2019, Emmanuel Koranteng joined Republic Fm in Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region where he worked as the Morning Show host and the Business Manager.
Aside the media industry, Emmanuel Koranteng has had an illustrious career in other endeavours including being a Literature – in – English Tutor at St. Paul’s Senior High School, English Tutor at Nkwatia Secondary School, Marketing Manager at Milwave system Technologies and a National Service Personnel at the Electoral Commission.
He is a product of Nkwatia Secondary School where he obtained his GCE Ordinary Level certificate and Ghana Secondary School which provided him with his GCE Advanced Level certificate.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Social Science) from the University of Ghana, Legon (Sociology/Linguistics).
