Francis Doku, General Manager of 3Group, a subsidiary of Media General, is exiting the outfit after more than six (6) years.
Francis’ departure is a shock to the industry as no one saw it coming.
His last day in the role as General Manager Of 3Group will be Friday 7th July.
Francis Doku first joined the media outfit as General Manager for MG Digital in August 2017, where he played a pivotal role in the growth and success of its digital operations.
He later assumed the position of General Manager for 3Group where he oversaw the management of TV3 and 3FM.
Under his leadership, 3Group experienced significant growth, and Date Rush, one of the most popular television programs in Ghana, was launched.
Before joining Media General, Doku worked as the Founder of Maestro Africa Group Limited. He also worked with MediaCom Ghana (now Vizeum), Adams Media Limited (Carat Ghana), and The Rave Group.
Doku’s departure is a loss for Media General, but he leaves the company with a strong legacy.
A successor is yet to be announced by the media outfit.
