Outspoken morning show host Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has officially resigned from Accra-based Angel FM, www.mediafillasgh.com can confirm.
The decision, according to him, takes immediate effect.
In an official statement on his Facebook page sighted by this website, the maverick broadcaster attributed his departure to “differences in interests” between himself and ABN management.
This decision was made due to differences in interests between the management of the company and myself,” he wrote.
Okatakyie, who has been a prominent voice on the airwaves, further expressed gratitude to ABN for the opportunity to serve, as well as to the Ghanaian public for their unwavering support throughout his tenure.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve ABN and the Ghanaian public,” he added.
While he did not disclose specific details about his next steps, the broadcaster assured his fans and supporters that he would reveal his plans in due course.
“To my fans and family out there, I will share my next move soon,” he added.

The television show will run online and will be purely political based programme.
