Retired Sports Commentator with Radio Ghana, Nii Nortey Dua , www.mediafillasgh.com has learned.
The former law maker died in the early hours of Thursday after battling some illness. A former colleague at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and Member for Odododiodoo Constituency, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye, who confirmed the news to Accra based Class FM this morning and indicated that he is saddened by the development and the bereaved family is very heartbroken.
The late Dua was Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku constituency in the Greater Accra region between 2008 and 2012.
Ahead of the 2012 general election he was beaten in the party’s primaries by former Miss Ghana winner Benita Sena Okity-Duah.
He worked with Radio Ghana as a sports commentator for well over 15 years.
