Ghana’s official media fillas portal, www.mediafillasgh.com can report that Angel FM Accra has migrated from the frequency modulation, 102.9FM to 103.3FM.
This portal has it that the decision to migrate was in consultation with National Communications Authority (NCA), the sole Governmental agency which assigns, allocates and regulates the use of frequencies and also gives Licences/Authorisations to service providers including Dealers of Communications Equipment and Broadcasting Stations and Mobile Network Operators.
This action taken was as a result of frequency jam caused on Top 103.1FM transmission and that residents in and around the capital find it difficult to get the reception of Angel FM.
It could be recalled that Angel 102.9FM started its test transmission in the nation’s capital in April 2017.
The Lapaz based radio station promises to become an industry leader, powered by its host of great presenters to be acquired. Angel FM is set to compete in the Twi-speaking, mass market demographic and will cover programmes such as politics, sports, business, entertainment, motivation etc.
The CEO, Dr. Kwaku Oteng owns a number of business interests including Angel Broadcasting Networks which operates Accra based Angel TV, digital television station as well as a good number of commercial radio including:
