Multiple Award-winning foreign sports presenter, The Evergreen Debator 1 (privately known as Francis Addai) has said goodbye to Kumasi-based media outfit, Abusua FM, a subsidiary of EIB Network.
This website can confirm that the 2018/2019 Ashanti’s best foreign sports presenter tendered in his resignation Sunday May 3, 2020.
The 2017/2018 Ashanti’s best commentator confirmed the news in a Facebook post Sunday evening.
He wrote:
The journey started in 2016. After years of exciting and memorable stint with the EIB, I am bidding adieu today. I would therefore like to announce to my cherished fans that I have resigned from Abusua FM. I enjoyed my tenure at EIB, and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with you. Through EIB, I received two laurels; 2017/18 best commentator of the year in Ashanti Region and 2018/2019 best foreign sports presenter in Ashanti region.
I would like to thank my head of sports, Mr. Samuel Kofi Larby the Governor and the entire Abusua sports team for every experience shared, friendship made and the good times we had together. I would like all of you to know that working alongside you was very rewarding and I really appreciate all the help you have extended to me through tough times. Words are not enough to express my gratitude but I pray that one day our paths can cross again in future.
