Born in Tema Community 5, YAD started his radio journey in 1995 with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) as a Disc Jockey for Greg Mingle and gradually developed interest for presenting. He worked there for some time and later moved to Life FM at Nkawkaw where helped built the station in 1999.

Some years later, YAD worked with Sky FM and Chris FM in Sunyani and Berekum respectively. He later joined Classic FM in Techiman before moving to Kumasi where worked at Fox fm and hosted Fox Rush Hour at that time but after some time he descended to the Capital. His appearance in Accra saw him at Happy FM.

YAD left Happy FM due to personal issues and went back his root; the Ashanti Region and joined Ashh FM before making a move to Angel FM in Kumasi to be precise where he presented the After Drive. He later hosted Angel Lunch on the Abrepo based station.

He again moved to KFM, a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network as the General Manager of the Techiman based radio station before joining Angel FM in Accra.

Aside doing radio, he is also into acting as well as advertising and radio Marketing.

Notable presenters who has passed through his hands include Delores Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay (formerly of Oman FM), Davis Odeneho Appiah (formerly of Adom FM), Akosua Safoa Kantimpo (formerly of Hot FM/Adom FM), Justina Ansah (Obouba FM), Ama Nsorkor (Angel FM) amongst others and encouraged upcoming presenters to stay focus and believe in what they do.

YAD promises to work with the Angel Broadcasting Network till he retires from the media fraternity.

His utmost thanks goes to Dr. Kwaku Oteng, bankroller and owner of the Angel Group of Companies which also includes the Angel Broadcasting Network; Mr. Samuel Kofi Acheampong, Chief Executive Officer of the Angel Broadcasting Network; Captain Smart, the Chief Operating Director of the Angel Broadcasting Network and the host of Anopa Bofo) on Angel 102.9FM as well as Mr. Kwadwo Dickson, General Manager of Angel 102.9FM in Accra.

Congratulations as he celebrates his Silver Jubilee in Quality Broadcasting!
