With Captain Smart temporary taken off the morning show, there was the need for a formidable personality to take over.
Many had wondered who might take over this role as the host of one of the most listened-to-morning show in the capital, Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ; until Thursday 13th May 2021 (Eid Fitr Holiday) when Kofi Adoma Nwanwani announced on his social media handles that he was hosting the show only for that holiday.

This development might be surprising to many but the fact is, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani has since last week Thursday hosted the morning show on Angel FM.
With Kofi Adoma Nwanwani as the stopgap host of the morning show, the station’s listenership has since been sustained. Moreover, viewers as well as listerner’s reactions towards his show after he took over has also been overwhelmingly impressive.
Captain Smart who is currently serving a one month suspension is expected to return on June 4.
