Award-winning sports presenter and commentator, Abedi ‘Mamaye’ (known in private life as Isaac Asare) has officially parted ways with Kumasi-based Light FM.
The two-time sports Ashanti Regional commentator of the Year’s resignation from the Unity Group of Companies took effect from 1st July, 2021.
This website can extensively report that the sports broadcast journalist’s decision to leave the media outfit stems from management’s blatant reluctance to hand him an appointment letter as a full time staff of the media conglomerate, coupled with his low monthly allowance as well as their refusal to pay his monthly contributions to Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) Fund.
Having being in the media fraternity for well over two decades, the veteran sports broadcaster worked with the Asokwa-based station for five years and won several individual and national honours for the media outfit.
