One of Ghana’s fastest growing media group, The TeraONE Media has started a new radio station – Sompa 98.9FM in the Bono Regional capital, Sunyani, www.mediafillasgh.com can authoritatively state.
This website sources can confirm the ownership of Sunyani-based Adwumapa FM has changed hands.
The station, formerly owned by Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom some years ago. has a new name.
The newly acquired station is now to be trade as SOMPA 98.9FM, and is currently running a test transmission in the Bono Regional capital.
Sompa Sunyani will operate in the mass market with programming mostly in the Akan language while its content will cover programmes mainly on news, sports and politics.
The TeraONE Media’s other on air investments are Sompa FM and Sompa TV (all based in Kumasi), has Collins Amo Poku (Tofiakwa) as the Managing Director (M.D) of the media brand.
