Information reaching our desk at www.MEDIAFILLASGh.com has it that Kumasi-based Metro 94.1FM has laid off some of its presenters after failing an interview conducted by management on Monday.
Metro FM, after its takeover from former owner Samson Deen, asked presenters to re-apply for jobs at the station and as result this action taken compelled some notable presenters at the station to leave whereas others stayed on and re-applied.
Close source information has it that the Ejisu-based radio station officially laid off a popular male and a female on-air presenters, a sports presenter/commentator, among others after they failed to meet the required criteria set for the interview.
Metro FM is owned by astute Kumasi based preacher, Prophet Kofi Amponsah, Founder and leader of House of Ezra Ministries located at Asromaso Nkwanta in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region.
