The news anchor tendered in his resignation letter, which is to take effect at the end of January 2018, to his employers on Wednesday, January 10, 2o17, citing personal reasons for his decision to quit.
Deep throat source has it that key executives of the network are said to have tried to convince him to stay on, but he stuck to his decision to move on.
