Airing on weekdays between 6:00 and 6:30 pm, Sports World, Metro TV’s latest offering, is specifically tailored for women, and highlights their achievements and challenges on a daily basis.
It also presents an editorial segment that examines issues in sports, both in Ghana and beyond. The programme will also have all the highlights, big interviews, bloopers and sports related trivia.
Sports World is hosted by Akosua Addai Amoo, known for her knack for capturing stories pertaining to Women in Sports. She also presents Sports News at the station.
A graduate of the University of Ghana, she’s also a product of the esteemed Wesley Girl’s High School in Cape Coast.
