The 7th edition of the Foklex Media Awards was last night held at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City where outstanding media personalities were honoured.
Foklex Media Awards, Organised by Foklex Media Productions is aimed at rewarding electronic media practitioners in the Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Central, Western, Volta and Northern regions.
Abusua FM’s Sports Presenter, Francis Addai popularly known as Debator1 took home the Best commentator of the Year award in the Ashanti Region.

Hello FM’s late afternoon drive time show host, Bonshayka known in private life as Dennis McCaulley also won the Drivetime Show host of The Year in the Ashanti Region. Alex Nana Opoku popularly known as Alexis De God’s Son also took home the Gospel Presenter of The Year in the Ashanti Region.
Sports Pundit of Abusua FM, Ralphael Sarkodie also grabbed Sports Analyst of the Year as news anchor Abena Pokuaa of Agoo FM won the Female Newscaster of The Year in the Eastern Region.
Pure Live Worship on Pure FM hosted by Ohemaa Kente won the Live Worship of the Year in the Ashanti Region. Magic Simon of Domaa-Ahenkro based Voice FM also grabbed the Mid-Morning Show Host in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Hello FM’s Sampson K Nyamekye took home the Personality of the Year in the Ashanti Region which recognizes outstanding media personalities whose work shows exemplary leadership towards building a great a future for Ghana’s media industry. He also grabbed the Reporter of the Year in the Ashanti Region.
