It’s Official: ‘SOMETYMER’ Otuo Acheampong Heads to Oyerepa FM

Celebrated sport broadcaster and a household name in sports in Kumasi, Barima Otuo Acheampong Boadaa popularly called “Sometymer” or otherwise known as “Somee” has joined Kumasi-based private radio station, Oyerepa FM.
Mediafillasgh.com can exclusively confirm that the erstwhile General Manager of Sikka FM is currently the new General Manager of the Adum-based station, which is part of the properties of Bohyeba Group of Companies. Taking up the new role at the comes after several weeks of speculations.
Somee is expected to lead a new direction for the station, which holds a lot of promise in the ecosystem it plays in.
His exploits in the sports journalism industry catapulted Fox FM under F-Giant Broadcasting Limited in the year 1999 as the best sports station in the Ashanti region and and eventually lifting the tracker to become the number one radio station in the region.
After several years at Fox FM, he joined to Kessben FM and later returned to F-Giant Broadcasting Limited, joined Accra based Hot FM before joining Sikka FM in Kumasi.
Oyerepa 100.7FM is owned by Emmanuel Agyemang, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bohyeba Electricals based in Adum, Kumasi.
