Multiple award-winning Disc Jockey, DJ Slim (known in real life as Daniel Gyan Kesse) is set to end his 5 years journey with Global Media Alliance’s Kumasi-based Y FM in the coming days, MediafillasGh.com can authoritatively state.
This portal can hereby confirm that he is heading to Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) owned Kumasi-based Pure 95.7 FM as the station’s Drive Time show host.
The Ashanti Regional DJ of the year took to facebook Tuesday morning to announce his imminent departure:
After 5 years with this wonderful brand that we created together , I can’t help but think about the good times and the fun that we had on Radio all these years . This week will be my final week on Y fm 102.5 . Words can’t express how much I appreciate all your love and support , God bless you all . Sources close to this website report that Slim is expected to commence work on the late afternoon drive time show, “Pure Drive” in the coming days. The show will be running between the hours of 3pm and 7pm every weekday.
Slim is also known for his excellent knowledge of vinyl & CD turntables, microphones, amplifiers, sound mixers, upbeat track selection, live music mixing and spinning style.
DJ Slim joins the likes of Kwame Adinkra and Alexis De God’s Son at Pure FM.
