The former General Manager of Onua FM/Onua TV under Media General Ghana Limited, Nana Apeanti has joined the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) and has officially started work the media conglomerate today Tuesday August 22, 2023.
A career media professional with three decades hand-on experience in content creation, planning and brand communication in the media landscape, has been appointed as the Director of Operations and Administration of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).
Until joining the Angel Broadcasting Network, Mr. Apeanti has been a big part of the Media General for the past three years having joined as General Manager for its Akan-branded media outfits, Onua FM and Onua TV in 2020.
His experience spans across the content creation, marketing communications and the media value chain, including journalism, public relations, media planning, advertising, event management, digital marketing and promotion.
Continually, the man who has established himself as ‘GH’s Media Guru’ sweeps us off our feet with his impeccable media journey. Call him the ‘Don’ of Ghana’s Media and you’ll not be far from being right. Nana Apeanti has over the years exhibited great managerial skills as well.
Interestingly, Mr. Apeanti’s journey to great feat started with Vibe FM in 1994 where he was a presenter and the General Manager of the station. Later joined the Multimedia Group (Adom FM) in 2000s as the Director of Programmes. Also, he was an integral figure in the setting up of Multi TV and Asempa FM. In 2015, he moved to Class Media Group (Accra) as the General Manager of the media brand before leaving for Media General (Onua FM and Onua TV) in 2020.
In a social post Tuesday morning, the Angel Broadcasting Network however welcomed Nana Apeanti to the media conglomerate after his introduction to the staff at Angel 102.9FM in Accra.
