Belgian born Ghanaian presenter, Vanessa Danso is set to premiere Ghana’s first history and animated show, Heresy on Monday, 26th Aug, 2019.
Heresy, an animated series, inspired by the struggles of African greats is geared towards educating Ghanaians all over the globe on the history of their motherland. It is laced with history, education and general knowledge. This follows its huge success since it was launched on Youtube.
The show will engage the intellect of viewers, educate and inform a teaming millennial with interest in Ghana’s history.
It offers education on a wild range of topics including; the mystery behind the Akan Day names, the heroics of Nana Asantewaa, Transatlantic Slave Trade in Africa, The traditional Wedding, Scramble for Africa, Adinkra Symbols and more.
Speaking about the impact she hopes to make with Heresy, Presenter and Creative Director, Vanessa Danso said; “The purpose of the show is to educate the people about their rich heritage. The culture, customs, traditions and history in a very refreshing and innovative way through the means of animation and motion graphics.”
With her medical profession, Vanessa comes into the industry with years of rich experience in presenting, MCing, production.
