This past months has been another big one for the media as news and rumours of journalists and broadcasters known and identified with particular media brands have resigned from their jobs to join the competition or moved on to something else. Some of the news has hit us with surprise and awe.
One big and surprising news was that about King Eben resigning from Silver FM to join Wontumi FM.
This portal, www.mediafillasgh.com, we’re hearing, Adom FM has been hit with a very big blow as Blessed Godsbrain Smart aka Captain Smart, who has over half a decade served as the morning show host at Adom FM is set to resign from the Multimedia owned outfit in the coming days. The rumours we’re are getting had it that he is finally headed for Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) and for Angel 102.9FM Accra to be specific, while other shows on television would be on Angel TV.
Another big one we’re also hearing is that popular media personality, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani (formerly with Adom FM) , who is also the CEO of Kofi TV and Kofi Radio is also set to join the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) – Angel 102.9FM Accra!
Kofi Adomah is a big asset to have in any media house. He has worked himself up through the ranks to become a figure that many revere in the industry. He knows how to ask tough questions of duty bearers when they come on his news and other talk shows, he is factual and straightforward.
This website can also learning that a couple other popular news anchors from Multimedia would also join Captain Smart and Kofi Adomah at Angel FM Accra!
This move has necessitated that Management of Angel Broadcasting Network has paused all on-air programmes on the Accra-based stations for a two-week test transmission (All Music No Talk) from tonight till Monday 1st June 2020 when all programmes will start with the new guys on board.
