Multimedia Ghana Limited (MGL) has appointed Josh Tigo as the new Programmes Manager of Adom 106.3 FM.
Mr. Tigo, before his appointment has since 2018 served as the online editor for adomonline.com, one of the Multimedia Group’s online platforms, with the responsibility of making the platform rival other leading online news portals in Ghana and beyond.
PROFILE
Until joining Multimedia, Joshua Tigo was a Senior Public Relations Assistant at Accra Technical University.
He also worked with the Finder newspaper where he worked as one of the pioneer reporters before later helping to set up the paper’s sports version – Finder Sports and became its Deputy Editor. While with the Finder, he wrote as a columnist, writing the column, “In My Dreams” but was also known for his hard-hitting investigative pieces.
Joshua Tigo has also worked as a reporter for Sky Digital Television and host of other media houses as an intern.
The man who majored in journalism with a 1st Class from the Ghana Institute of Journalism is also a trained teacher with several years of teaching experience on his side.
He is also a product of Rhodes University of South Africa’s Spring School for Future Journalists.
Joshua Tigo who is also known for his shrewd and strategic thinking has served on a number of Committees including being the secretary to the Media Committee of the West Africa Polytechnic Games Association’s Local Organising Committee in 2015.
