The Ashanti Region is set to welcome a new radio station to the Kumasi’s growing radio ecosystem in the coming days, Asaase Radio 98.5.
According to Enewsgh.com, the station which will be operating on 98.5MHz on the frequency modulation band, will kickstart a massive test transmission ahead of its official roll out of normal programming.
The new addition to Asaase Broadcasting Company (ABC) Radio Limited’s portfolio sits with its plans of having a competitive commercial presence nationwide.

Asaase Broadcasting Company (ABC) which currently operates Asaase Radio 99.5 (Accra) is being run by owners of the Daily Statesman newspaper, which has Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko as the frontman.
The station operates under the tagline “The Voice of Our land”.
