Ace broadcaster and musician, Jon Germain has asked the organizers of the most prestigious event on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar, VGMA, Charterhouse to hire him as the host for the next event.
The annual Vodafone Ghana music awards(VGMA) has been hosted by a number of high profile personalities such as Kwami Sefa Kayi, Nana Aba Anamoah, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and Chris Attoh as MCs have hosted previous events.
This year’s event which was held at the Grand Arena of Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday ,May 6, was hosted by TV personality Berla Mundi and actors Naa Ashorkor and James Gardner.
There has been mixed reactions regarding how these personalities hosted this year’s event.
However, In a tweet, Jon Germain said, “They should hire me to host/MC Ghana Music Awards.”

He beat stiff competition from Piesie Esther,Camidoh, Sarkodie, King Promise, KiDi and Joe Mettle.
Artistes such as Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Piesie Esther, Perez Musik, King Promise, Lasmid, Epixode among many others winning awards in various categories.
