Award-winning broadcast journalist, Pearl Akanya Ofori has gracefully bowed out of Citi FM and Citi TV, subsidiaries of the Omni Media Group. www.mediafillasgh.com can confirm.

The outstanding news anchor took to her social media handles Thursday evening to officially announce her departure from Citi FM and Citi TV.

Here is her statement:

Hello everyone; I really appreciate all of you so much for the encouragement and the support when I begun my Journalism career at Citi FM eight years ago. I have had to write this post because most of you have been enquiring why I am no longer on the screens or on radio.

Well, I took a decision late last year to move on because I felt it was time to move on to the next phase of my life after an amazing eight years at Citi FM, and later Citi TV. I’m eternally grateful to the station for giving me that opportunity and the platform.

But there surely comes a time when one has to take another step towards their Purpose. I will keep you posted on my progress if necessary, and I know you all wish me well. Thank You all, and God Bless You.
Love you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
