The channel, which operates on the frequency modulation 97.9, Power FM is Accra’s latest radio addition.
The newly born radio station started its test transmission on Tuesday March 21 according to information available to MEDIAFILLASGH.com, is located around Adjiringano, East Legon.
Power 97.9FM according to persons at the station who spoke to MEDIAFILLASGH.com did not however disclose to us whether the station would operate as mass or urban radio station. The source also added that the owner has acquired Radio XYZ, an existing radio station as well as TV XYZ all located in the capital.
