Asaase Broadcasting Company Limited today (10 December) announced the departure of Kojo Mensah from its flagship morning show – The Asaase Breakfast Show (ABS).
Uncle Kojo, as he is affectionately called, has been the host of ABS which airs on Asaase Radio 99.5 megahertz (FM) in Accra, Asaase Radio 98.5 megahertz (FM) in Kumasi and 123 Radio 99.7 megahertz (FM) in Tamale since its inception.
Kojo Mensah assumes a new role as the Head of Asaase Foundation and lead consultant for Asaase Broadcasting’s international partnerships and facilitator for training at Asaase Broadcasting.
“We are immeasurably grateful to Kojo Mensah for his passionate leadership and dedication to the Asaase vision. He has grown The Asaase Breakfast Show and provided a foundation on which we can grow. Kojo Mensah, a veteran broadcaster and former UN official is best known for his scathing commentaries on political and public affairs. The vastly experienced radio journalist, producer, and media trainer has over 35 years’ experience in the world of media and started his career in Ghana, with the GBC, and also had brief stints at various media organisations in the UK.
Asaase Broadcasting Limited, a private commercial media organisation, operates Asaase Radio 99.5 megahertz (FM) in Accra, Asaase Radio 98.5 megahertz (FM) in Kumasi, 123 Radio 99.7 megahertz (FM) in Tamale and Asaase Radio 100.3 megahertz in Cape Coast.
