Seasoned broadcaster Anita Erskine will host this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards slated for the Accra International Conference Centre this Saturday, April 8.
The likes of Doreen Andoh, Eazzy, Dentaa, Naa Askorkor and Joselyn Dumas, have all compered the awards night in supporting roles. Erskine’s announcement as sole hostess therefore, is unprecedented in many regards.
Anita was born in Jerusalem in 1978 and raised in Ghana. She’s among the country’s finest media personalities, and has become a constant icon of inspiration, especially to women. She currently comperes Starr Drive alongside Giovanni Caleb. It airs weekdays one Starr 103.5 FM in Accra.
The 17th edition, MzVee, Medikal, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, EL,and Joe Mettle are all in the running for the coveted Artist of The Year Prize. It will also witness performances from some of the country’s most sought after music acts.
