After leaving Paa Kwesi Nduom’s Ahoto FM, ‘Sir John’ (known in private life as John Marfo) heads to Media General, Akoma FM as new host of the morning show, Mediafillasgh.com can authoritatively state

A very good addition to the Asokwa-based station, ‘Sir John’ comes in with some years of unquestionable quality especially in the area of news editing and current affairs as well as entertainment, which the managers of the Kumasi- based radio station are bent on exploring to add to the unit.

‘Sir John’ as the broadcaster is affectionately called, is expected to bring his expertise to bear on a show dubbed “Adekyeemu Ns3m” which premieres on Monday November 11. The programme is expected to run between the hours of 5.45am and 10am.

Previously, he worked with Time FM (Offinso) and Ahoto FM(Kumasi).

MzGee Joins Media General | Set to host TV3 Mentor

After quitting Multimedia Group, Gloria Akpene Acquah, heads to Media General as host of TV3’s music reality show ‘Mentor Reloaded’, Mediafillasgh.com can authoritatively state.

Sources tell this portal MzGee, as the journalist is affectionately called, will also “lead entertainment on radio and TV” as part of her job description.

Her appointment is effective Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

MzGee joined Multimedia Group in 2014. During her days, she co-produced Daybreak Hitz which is Hitz FM’s four-hour magazine entertainment and lifestyle morning show.

She hosted ‘Campus’ and ‘Entertainment This Week’ on Hitz FM and anchored Hitz News @1. The silky-voiced presenter also handled the entertainment segment on JoyNews’ evening bulletin and hosted G-Spot, a relationship TV talk show with celebrities as guests on Joy Prime.

MzGee covered several high profile programmes across the continent including Ghana Music Awards and African Movie Academy Awards.

The entertainment and fashion icon is expected to bring her expertise to bear on a show which was re-launched in September this year after it went on hiatus in 2013.

After six years break, organisers of the popular music talent reality show have repackaged it to bring Ghanaians the best television entertainment experience.

Dubbed ‘Mentor Reloaded’, the all new season, which will be the eighth, will give young talented persons seeking a musical career the unique opportunity to not only show what they’ve got but also get to shine and win mouthwatering prizes.

According to close source information, Silver TV will officially start the test transmission on Multi TV in the coming weeks, probably next week.

Silver TV is a sister television station of Silver FM which is owned by Bantamahene and former CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Baffour Owusu Amankwaatia VI (known in private life as Sylvester Asare Owusu).
