Benjamin Yamoah Leaves Ultimate FM | Heads to Accra

Broadcast sport journalist Benjamin Yamoah popularly known as Bengarzi is on his way to Accra.

Guess where?

After five years with Kumasi based Ultimate FM, a subsidiary of the EIB Network, sports broadcaster has made his way to Ring Road-based Starr FM, another unit of the EIB Network.

Bengarzi made this official announcement on his social media platforms Thursday morning. This is the exact words of the popular sports host:

It’s been an awesome experience working with such great colleagues for the past five(5) years, You guys were simply awesome and I can’t thank you enough!! Ultimate 106.9 FM❤️❤️
Kumasi and Asanteman in total I can’t thank you enough for the love and amazing support in the over fifteen(15) years service on radio/TV in the Golden Kingdom. I am eternally grateful to everyone of you, from colleagues I have worked with over the years at Garden City Radio(GBC) Dove FM(Now Sikka FM) Kapital Radio and Ultimate FM/Abusua FM to listeners without whose loyal support I would not be where I am today.

To family and friends we have made through this journey especially my family Daring Team thank you for the constant support, love and counsel.

With EIB running the convergence model, Benjamin Yamoah would not only work with Starr FM as he is expected to take up some TV duties on GhOne TV.

Benjamin Yamoah comes in with his rich of career experience spanning 15 years and counting behind the microphone in Kumasi. Before joining Ultimate FM, he previously worked with Kapital Radio, Garden city Radio(GBC), Light FM and Dove FM(Now Sikka FM).
