News Anchor Obaa Sima Resigns from Fox FM

Popular news anchor and radio presenter, Obaa Sima has officially said goodbye to Kumasi-based Fox FM after six years with the media brand, can authoritatively state.

In an official facebook post to announce her resignation from the F-Giant Broadcasting Limited. She posted:

Resignation From Fox FM-Kumasi

I, Mavis Opoku Afriyie affectionately called Obaa Sima wish to notify all and sundry of my decision to resign from Fox Fm, Kumasi with immediate effect from May 2022. My decision to resign are best known to me and has been borne out of mutual agreement and conclusion with management of the media platform.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the management of Fox Fm, Kumasi for the incredible six (6) years of service with the Station.

I am eternally grateful for the platform granted me to serve in my media journey as a Newscaster, and Host of Kyenkyen Bi Adi M’awu and Mansusu Saa Programmes at the Station. The opportunity granted me has been transformative.

And to my colleagues, I’m very honoured and appreciative of the healthy working ambience you created as well as your continuous support.

I wish Fox FM the very best in its prospects in the years ahead.
