Sports Pundit ‘Kweku Edilson’ Returns to Radio | He’s joining Light FM

Radio transfers have an endless window indeed. With the aforementioned regard, this authoritative portal is set to break the newest move in Kumasi.

‘The Thinkerman’ as he is popularly called by sports fans, has finalized a move to Light 94.9 FM, purposely to augment the Sports crew, immediately after the exit of Papa Nikko few days ago.

Edilson, a product of KNUST and a former worker of some key radio stations, in Kumasi, needs no introduction, as he has already built a revered standard around himself.

He’s an all round sports analyst, making him a priceless personality for any serious station to be happy having. His decisive love for the African game, which other presenters shy away from, makes The Thinkerman a good egg for  any sports platform.

The Kumasi cited light FM sports, is hosted by a respected sports personality,  Frank Appiah Rijkard and adequately authored by some good brains like Super Abondede, Biggy and Neymar. Edilson’s addition, became necessary as the station’s alacritous quest to compete excellently in the sports industry.

Light sports runs every weekday, from 3pm to 6pm on Light 94.9fm, Vision 1 FM (Accra) and Light TV.

The weekend sports is between 7pm-9pm.


Edilson has worked with the following radio stations, before quitting radio briefly for further studies.

Focus FM (KNUST campus), Sunsum FM, Fox FM and Otec FM. He worked with Super Abondede at Sumsum FM and rejoining him at light FM, would be a sweet reunion.

This portal wishes Edilson a fruitful stay at light FM, as he is expected to start work on Monday (10th June, 2019).
